First, drag coefficients, Magnus coefficients, and fluid torque coefficients at various conditions were computed using computational fluid dynamic analyses. Second, the value of each coefficient in the speed range of a table tennis ball was determined via interpolation. Finally, a motion equation model was used to calculate the 3D trajectories of a table tennis ball that was spinning leftwards and downwards.
